It's definitely worth reading—I hope people get a chance to! When Bergman talks of Ginsberg's misogyny, he should consider whose eyes Allen wishes to attract and through whose he's looking, i.e. straight men. I suspect when Ginsberg comes out, comes into his own as a gay man, his sympathies appropriately alter.
